Underwater in the Caribbean
Updated: Aug 31, 2019
One of the things I really enjoy about scuba diving is the diversity of life that can be found underwater. One of the largest realization that was a shock to me was the size of many of the critters.
Growing up in the PNW, I am used to seeing "Trout" size fish and that was my reference point. Many of the critters in the ocean are tiny; at under 1". Yes, there are still plenty of "fish" sized fish but I find I am fascinated with the macro sized sea life.
Here are some "Fish" sized fish
Sponges, coral, Christmas tree worms, and anemones
Macro critters, from small to the incredibly tiny
