Have I mentioned I like windmills?
Updated: Aug 31, 2019
It has been a very busy week but I was able to make it out and capture some more abandoned places. I had 4 locations marked to explore but getting out of the house late I was only able to hit 2 of them before the sun went down.
I might only have the opportunity to post 1 or 2 times in February. I have an extremely busy month and we are headed on vacation the last week of the month. If you have not subscribed to my blog yet there is no time like the present. We will be in Roatan Honduras for a scuba diving trip. I will have my underwater camera with me and you don't want to miss out.
This first set of images was a semi lucky find. I was in the area to capture images of what I thought was a simple barn. Off in the distance I noticed a homestead that I had not seen on the map. The light was a little bit rough for some of the images I would have liked to capture so I will be shooting it again in the future.
This homestead is one I had seen quite some time ago, but did not get the opportunity to capture. Today was the perfect day to capture it. Of course there was an intact windmill with a manufacture name I had not seen yet so that always makes me like it a bit more.
I bought my new drone for the ability of its camera so I have hardly used it for video. I decided to do a short video with it at this site. Please let me know what you think.
